TriFold PDF does not store your Markdown content.

When you generate a PDF:

• Your content is sent to the server
• Temporary files are created to process your PDF
• The PDF is returned to your browser
• All temporary files are deleted immediately after your PDF is sent

For PDF generation, there is no database. Your content is not intentionally logged. (Pro entitlements are stored separately—see section 05.)

TriFold PDF doesn't set cookies.

No tracking cookies. No session cookies. We don't set any cookies ourselves. (Third parties like Stripe may set cookies during checkout—see section 04.)

Local storage: We use your browser's localStorage (not cookies) to store your Pro access token (if you purchase Pro) and remember your A/B test variant assignment. Pro tokens are only sent to our API when making Pro-authenticated requests. A/B variants may be included in analytics events sent to Plausible (see section 03).

TriFold PDF uses Plausible Analytics.

Plausible is a privacy-friendly analytics tool that:

• Uses no cookies
• Doesn't track you across sites
• Is designed to be GDPR compliant

Plausible states they process your IP address to determine country but do not store it. Only aggregate data is visible: page views, referrers, and country. Individual users cannot be identified.

Minimal external dependencies.

• Google Fonts—for typography (JetBrains Mono, Inter)
• Plausible—for privacy-friendly analytics
• Stripe—for payment processing (Pro purchases only). Stripe Privacy Policy

These services receive your IP address and browser info when loading resources. TriFold PDF doesn't control their data practices. Google Fonts and Plausible don't use cookies or track you across sites. Stripe may set cookies during checkout—see Stripe's cookie policy. No ad networks, no social widgets.

If you purchase Pro, we store minimal data to manage your entitlement.

• Email address—encrypted (AES-256-GCM), used only for "Restore Pro" magic links
• Stripe customer ID—links your purchase to your entitlement
• Device fingerprint—hashed only, to enforce the 3-device limit

Payment details (card number, etc.) are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store them.

Magic links for account recovery are single-use and expire after 30 minutes.

Your rights: Request deletion of your data at privacy@trifoldpdf.com. We'll remove your entitlement record and confirm within 30 days.
